The company has the modern plant and equipment, depots and facilities, management, manpower and operational systems to ensure that its’ levels of efficiency and service in waste collection are unsurpassed in the local industry.

Interwaste will advise on the optimum waste storage and collection methods, the correct container sizes, service frequency and collection vehicles to be used to best suit individual as well as legal requirements. The company utilises skip collection vehicles with bins up to 18m3, roll-on roll-off (Ro-Ro) vehicles with bin capacities up to 35m³ and efficient Front End and Rear End Loader vehicles capable of compacting the waste on-board. Many types of trailed containers are also available to maximise transport efficiencies through optimal carrying capacity.

Generators of high volume, low mass waste can utilise on-site compactors to reduce the volume of those materials, resulting in substantial savings on transport costs.

Much of the companys’ equipment is custom designed to handle the diverse requirements of its’ industrial and commercial clients. Whether it is a specialised holding tank for toxic hydrocarbon waste or a specially shaped ‘half skip’ for use on-board commercial shipping vessels, the company ensures that the most efficient methodology is utilised at all times.

All Interwaste vehicles are linked to the company C-Track vehicle monitoring system enhancing efficiency and security. The satellite-based system allows for the continual real-time monitoring of a wide range of information from every vehicle in operation. The location and performance of each vehicle and its’ load is automatically recorded for the benefit of the company and of the customer. Any deviation from a range of preset parameters triggers an alarm situation allowing for an immediate response. All gathered data is stored and can be recalled in any number of different historical formats.
