ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is the standard for systems pertaining to quality management, covering all key process management and procedure compliance within the business framework. ISO 4001

ISO 14001 is the environmental management standard which governs how each and every Interwaste operation seeks to minimise any negative impact upon the natural environment. It involves the implementation and operation of programmes ensuring full compliance with legislative standards and encouraging continual improvement in all aspects of environmental policy. Interwaste is proud to be, at time of publication, the only waste management company in South Africa accredited with ISO 14001 certification across its’ entire range of operations.

ISO 18001

ISO 18001 is the internationally recognised Occupational Health and Safety standard to which Interwaste subscribes. The company is firmly committed to the health and wellbeing of its’ staff and see the implementation and ongoing management of OHSAS 18001 as key to the success of this policy.
